Where we begin

What do you need to arrange?

Is an employer ready to hire you but unsure what to submit to NSZ? Do you already have a residence permit but do not know whether it allows you to work? Or have you registered a sole trader business and are now applying for residence? We will identify the required procedure, coordinate the employee’s and business’s documents, and handle application preparation, submission and follow-up requests.

Starting a job

We will coordinate the contract, position, qualifications and labour market test with the employer. You will know which steps are needed before you can legally start work.

Working in your own business

We will check the basis for a sole trader or working DOO owner. Company registration, immigration procedures and accounting will be separated into clear tasks and costs.

Changing employer

We will check your current permit and prepare the transition. Changing employer, adding a second employer or changing the basis of work may require NSZ consent.

Practical help

The application work we take responsibility for

We will not arrange unnecessary procedures

We will check nationality, entry, passport validity and current status. We will determine whether you need a single permit, an employment D visa or whether your existing status already gives you the right to work.

Gather documents from both parties

You will receive a specific checklist, and the employer its own tasks. We will cross-check the contract and application details, review qualification documents and arrange required translations.

Handle submission and follow-up requests

We will prepare the electronic application and attachments and submit within our authority. For employment, we will help the employer with PPZ for the labour market test. We will monitor messages and supplement the case on request.

Guide you through the in-person stages

We will tell you when and where to attend, what to bring to biometrics and how to collect the card. We will check the outcome’s details and provide guidance on renewal and changes to working conditions.

Prepare the documents

What is needed from the employee and business

You provide

  • Passport: personal details page, validity and entry information
  • Current visa, residence permit or single permit, if already issued
  • Address in Serbia and employer contact or your own business documents
  • Contract, position and qualifications for employment; role and activity for an entrepreneur

We prepare and arrange

  • Your specific document checklist and a consistency check of the information
  • Preparation of the application, power of attorney and attachments for the selected procedure
  • Coordination of the employer, translator and other parties
  • Electronic submission within our authority, responses to requests and support at in-person stages

Sequence and timeframes

From document review to the application process

  1. Determine which permit is needed

We will review the passport, status, contract or business documents. The result is a basis, document checklist and conditions for starting work legally.

  2. Assemble the documents and agree the costs

We will separate the employee’s and employer’s documents, arrange translations and agree the price of our work. Government fees will be shown separately.

  3. Complete electronic submission

We will fill in the application, attach the documents and manage case notifications. If additional material is needed, we will prepare a response and explain your next steps.

  4. Support collection and the next steps

We will prepare you for biometrics and document collection and check the details. You will receive clear guidance on permit validity and renewal.

15 days for a decision

The official period for a duly prepared single permit application. This is not a promise to issue the card within 15 days of your first enquiry.

Valid for up to 3 years

The maximum single permit period depends on the basis and supporting documents. We will check the renewal date against the issued card.

The schedule will show our preparation, processing and document collection separately. We will set our deadline after checking the employee’s and employer’s readiness.

A clear scope of support

Services and mandatory costs are separate

Additional costs, if required

  • Translations and certifications based on the actual documents
  • Sole trader or DOO registration, a bank account and accounting if needed
  • D visa, address registration and other related tasks quoted separately

€150 is the fee for RICS’s basic work, not a full relocation or business launch budget. The official payment is confirmed on submission; we will check applicable concessions and additional tasks before payment. The price of our agreed work is fixed.

Before work begins

What matters before starting work

Are a D visa and a single permit the same?

No. An employment-based D visa allows you to live and work during its validity, up to 180 days. A single permit is issued for longer-term residence and work. The choice depends on nationality, visa rules and plans. The published D visa fee is €50 in dinar equivalent unless an exemption applies; this is a separate payment.

I already have a residence permit. Do I need another permit?

Not always. Some residence bases and permanent residence already grant the right to work, sometimes with restrictions. Send us the basis and validity of your status: we will first check your work rights, then suggest the procedure needed.

Can I start working immediately after my first submission?

The first submission alone does not replace the right to work. Before you start, we will check your current status, visa and permit. Different rules apply to renewal of an existing document, so we keep these situations separate.

What exactly must the employer do?

Provide company, vacancy and contract details; for employment, arrange PPZ submission for the labour market test. We will give its representative a checklist and coordinate the actions. If the employer submits through the portal, we will separately check application management authority and access to the electronic mailbox.

Can I start from another country?

Yes, we will begin document checks and preparation remotely. We will determine whether submission before entry is possible under your visa rules. Biometrics require personal attendance; we will agree in advance when you need to be in Serbia.

Do you also find job vacancies?

This service arranges the right to work when you have an employer or your own business. Job searches are not included in the permit support fee.
